Yes — bareboat charters are available on selected yachts and motorboats. You’ll need to show relevant RYA qualifications or experience to hire without a skipper.

How many people can join a charter trip?

Capacity depends on the vessel. RIBs typically seat up to 6–8 passengers, while larger yachts and motor cruisers can accommodate 8–12 guests. Luxury options are also available for bigger groups.

What’s included in the charter price?

Your booking includes the boat, safety equipment, and a professional skipper if required. Extras such as catering, hostess service, and restaurant bookings (like The Hut in Colwell Bay) can be arranged.

Can we stop for lunch or visit Solent attractions?

Absolutely. Popular choices include lunch at The Hut, exploring Osborne Bay, or a coastal run to Cowes. We can help you plan the perfect itinerary.

Where do Solent charters start from?

Most charters depart from marinas around Southampton, Hamble or Portsmouth. Alternative pick-up points can be arranged on request.

Are children allowed on charters?

Yes, family-friendly charters are available. Lifejackets are provided for all ages, and your skipper will ensure a safe and enjoyable trip.

What happens if the weather is bad?

We’ll work with you on a sensible go/no-go decision. If conditions are unsuitable, your trip can usually be rescheduled.
