Q: How many people can sleep aboard?

Sleat Princess sleeps 4 in two cabins plus 2 saloon berths (maximum 6 overnight).

Q: What qualification is needed for bareboat?

Minimum RYA Day Skipper (or equivalent) plus suitable recent experience on a similar-size yacht in coastal waters.

Q: What’s included in the price?

Fully equipped yacht, safety gear and handover. Mooring fees, fuel, catering and optional skipper are extra.

Q: Where does the charter start?

Handover is from Hamble Point Marina, Southampton (Solent). Alternative arrangements by prior agreement.

Q: What time are handover and return?

Typical handover 14:00 and return 10:00 (flexible subject to previous/next bookings and tides).

Q: Is the yacht coded and safe?

Yes — she’s RYA coded and carries the required safety equipment.

Q: Can you supply a welcome grocery pack?

Yes — a welcome pack can be arranged on request.

Q: Are children and pets allowed?

Children are welcome (please tell us ages for lifejackets). Pets by prior agreement only.

Q: What should we bring?

Non-marking shoes, soft bags, warm layers, waterproofs, sun protection and any personal medication.
