The RYA VHF Radio (SRC) Course provides the knowledge required to operate marine VHF and DSC radios safely and legally.

It covers both routine communication and emergency procedures, ensuring you can use your radio with confidence in all situations.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Operate marine VHF and DSC radios correctly
  • Send and receive distress, urgency and safety calls
  • Communicate with marinas, coastguard and other vessels
